Display
Both Epson 3200 and BenQ TK800M are not native 4K projectors. Epson 3200 shifts each pixel diagonally by 0.5 pixels that doubles the Full HD to produce the 4K PRO UHD image that will display 4.1 million pixels.
However, BenQ TK800M is capable of producing 8.3 million pixels by shifting pixels in four directions both horizontally and vertically to achieve True 4K. Natively BenQ TK800M’s DMD chip is of size 0.44″ which can produce 1920×1080 resolution. But its XPR Technology helps it to quadruple the resolution to shifting the pixels horizontally and vertically to produce 8.1 million pixels.
Contrast Ratio
In the contrast ratio department, Epson 3200 has an advantage of having higher configuration (40,000:1) than BenQ TK800M which is limited to 10:000:1. So, you can see better contrast images on Epson 3200.
Brightness
Epson 3200 comes with 2900 lumens and BenQ with 3000 lumens, so both are bright enough to be setup in your living room beating the ambient light coming from windows and lights.
But if you are watching it during night time you switch the mode to Eco and save the lamp life.
